DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND PARKING


DIRECTIONS TO PORT OF CLEVELAND PARKING

From the East: Take I-90 West to the East 9 th Street exit. Turn right at top of ramp to Erieside Ave.(in front of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum) and turn left. Follow the street to the right until it stops at the Port of Cleveland. Port lot will be in front of you, Science Center Lot will be on the right, or turn left and follow to W. 3rd lot.

Alternatively, turn left onto E. 9th St, from the freeway ramp. Turn right at the first street, Lakeside Ave. Turn right on W. 3rd. St. and lot will be on your left.

Or take 480 West to I-77 North and get off at the East 9th Street exit and make a right onto Orange Avenue. At the first light, make another right onto East 9th Street. Drive north on 9th Street towards Lake Erie. Turn left on Erieside Avenue by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and follow the street until it stops at the Port of Cleveland. Port lot will be in front of you, Science Center Lot will be on the right, and turn left to W. 3rd lot.

From the South: Take I-77 North. Get off at the East 9th Street exit and make a right onto Orange Avenue. At the first light, make another right onto East 9th Street follow same directions as above.

From the West: Take I-90 east to the 9th Street Exit. Follow the curve to 9th Street and follow it towards Lake Erie. Turn left onto Erieside Avenue by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and follow the street until it stops at the Port of Cleveland. Port lot will be in front of you, Science Center Lot will be on the right, and turn left to W. 3rd lot.


DIRECTIONS TO THE CITY OF CLEVELAND AND MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT

From the South: Take I-77 North. Get off at the East 9th Street exit and make a right onto Orange Avenue. At the first light, make another right onto East 9th Street. Continue on East 9th Street all the way towards Lake Erie. When you pass Lakeside Avenue, get into the right lane. Get off at the Route 2 East (Cleveland Memorial Shoreway) Exit. The first exit on Route 2 East will be the City of Cleveland Municipal Parking Lot.

OR

Take 1-71 North to 1-90. Take I-90 East and get off at the East 9th Street exit. Continue on East 9th Street towards Lake Erie. When you pass Lakeside Avenue, get into the right lane. Get off at the Route 2 East (Cleveland Memorial Shoreway) exit. The first exit on Route 2 will be the City of Cleveland Municipal Parking Lot.

From the East: Take I-90 West. Exit at East 55th Street and make a left onto East 55th. Take East 55th Street to South Marginal Road. Make a right onto South Marginal Road. Continue on South Marginal Road. City of Cleveland Municipal Parking lot will be on your right. You can also go to the next exit, East 9th Street.

From the West: Take I-90 East and exit at East 9th Street. Continue on East 9th Street North toward Lake Erie. When you pass Lakeside Avenue, get into the right lane. Get off at the Route 2 East (Cleveland Memorial Shoreway) Exit. The first exit on Route 2 East will be the City of Cleveland Municipal Parking Lot.

RTA WATERFRONT LINE
Take the RTA Waterfront Line from Tower City and get off at the North Coast Station (Rock Hall) or the South Harbor (Municipal Parking Lot) stops. For more information call the RTAnswerline at 216.621.9500 for exact times and fares.

 

SECURITY

The Port of Cleveland 2013 Tall Ships Festival has been designated as a Marine Event of National Significance (“MENS”) by the United States Department of Homeland Security. Security measures will be in place to protect the public. Please be aware that all personal belongings, bags, and purses will be checked at event entry points. All weapons, explosives, or incendiary devices are prohibited. Bottles of water and other liquids are not permitted to be brought into the Festival. Baby food and formula must be in a plastic container (no glass is permitted) and can be stored in a small cooler that is no larger than 5 quarts.   On Thursday, July 4th lawn chairs and blankets will be allowed onto the site after 5:00 p.m.

Please expect some delays when you visit the Tall Ships Festival. We sincerely appreciate your assistance as we work together to keep the public safe.
